• How to make a Booking


     Our booking process is quite straightforward and outlined below.


  • Check availability on our online calendar first.


  • Send us your completed booking request form.   (Click on "Booking Form" Tab above)

     e.g. date, times, your details, type of event, etc.



    Time needed for setting up your event and clearing up afterwards must be included in the hire

    period booked and paid for.


​    We will confirm availability and send you an acceptance of your booking via email or text message.


  • In completing and returning the booking form you agreed with our Terms and Conditions. Please pay particular attention to our Terms and Conditions and your responsibilities in relation to supervision, Health and Safety, licences, damage deposits, end of hire arrangements, noise, smoking and car parking.


  • Once we have confirmed your booking, you will need to pay a £ 25.00 holding deposit.


  • The remainder, including the refundable damage deposits, must be paid in full at least 28 days before the event.


  • We will invoice you 28 days before the event. If the event is within 28 days of the invoice date, then the full amount including the damage deposit, is due immediately.    (Payment by BACS only).


  • Refundable damage deposits are returned to you, within 14 days of your event/party.


Please Note: Alcohol is NOT allowed in the hall.



How can I pay for my Deposit & Booking?

Bank Transfer (BACS) - details will be sent to you

Is the hall suitable for weddings/18th birthday parties etc?

Not really as we have a NO alcohol policy in the hall, as the hall is surrounded by houses. Neighbours would complain about the noise and the late coming and goings.

Where do I put my rubbish?

All your rubbish MUST be taken with you when you leave.  We do not supply black sacks so bring your own. 

What equipment is in the kitchen?

We have an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and an urn.  Plenty of cups/saucers - but bring your own washing up liquid and tea towels.

How much time is allowed for set up and clearing up?

You must allow for any setting up/clearing up in your booked time.  So you must add as much time as you think you need to your booking. 

Can I have a bouncy castle?

Yes, but it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the ante use of such equipment is properly insured.

How do I gain access to the hall?

Once the booking is confirmed and paid for, you will be emailed a main door access code - for your use only

Can I play music or have a disco?

Yes to both. We also have a built in sound system with CD player with  Bluetooth and USB connectivity to hire.  Play your own music over the hall speakers. (See our hire rates page)

When and how do I get back my refundable deposit?

A BACS refund will be provided within 14 days of your party/event.  This allows us to check for any damage to the hall & CCTV as appropriate. 

How do I know you have my booking?

You can check our online calendar and you will have received a confirmation of your booking by email.

When do I need to pay the balance of my booking?

28 days prior to the event and don't forget the refundable damage deposit

Can I use the grassed area behind the hall?

Yes, if you have hired the main hall.
